PLEASE HELP, Young Male Veiled ia acting Strange.

I am very worried about my little guy.:(:( He is a veiled chameleon and I think he is about 3-4 months only, MAYBE. well I got him a few days ago from the exotic reptile show near Chicago a few days ago. When I first got him he was fine. On the way home he was walking all around the car when we got home he was still fine. But for about 2 days now he's been acting strange. He is dark with dark designs and his right eye looks like it was glued shut. I think it is his skin. And the other eye he just keeps closed. He even keeps it closed when walking... I don't think he's eating either. I put Crickets in his tank "same time as my other Chameleons" and all of their food was gone but his was still in his cage. I don't remember how many I put in there but I do think some of them were gone. and when I mist his cage he runs? I have him on the top top "almost touching the roof" He's up high so know one can bother him. If someone can please help me. Thank you so much....:(:(

can you post photos?

What are the basking temps?

what lights are you using?

what kind of cage is he in?

Temp is 93.1, Isn't it supposed to be 75-80? How can I lower the temps? I have a basking light, "Zoo Med" 75w 120v, He also has a UVB. That is also Zoo Med. He's in a screen cage that is, 12"Long 12"Wide 16"Tall. I had him in a cage that was a little bigger but I put him in a smaller one, hopping it would make it easier for him to get his food., I haven't seen him eat or drink. I am very nervous and worried. I am sorry if the pictures are bad for some reason my phone isn't taking the best pictures. Also when I was getting ready to take pics of him He started doing something with his right eye. It was getting really big and he was moving it around. I tried to take a pic but He kept moving.

Is is just me or does "he" look like a she?

Anyways, that enclosure's too small. She should be in at least a 18"x18"x36" tall enclosure, and 2'x2'x4' if possible when she's full grown. You should have a 5.0 UVB bulb. For her, the basking should be 80-85 degrees, ambient in low 70's. Make sure you're providing enough moisture, she sounds dehydrated. You should spray 3-6 times a day, from 1-2 minutes each (everyone mists differently). What are the humidity levels?

He is defiantly a he. You can see the spur in the second pic. Also are you sure the cage is to small? he is very small and has lots of room in that cage! I put him in there to see if it would be easier to get his food.

Hi!

He's a cutie.... you want a temperature gradient...85-90 at the basking spot, 65-75 at the bottom. You can lower the temp at the basking point by raising the light.

This board typically recommends a 24x24x48 inch cage. I don't necessarily think that's a requirement and I think you can make that enclosure work. You will hear other opinions...you just have to weigh them and decide what works best for you and your chameleon.

im wondering ... the dehydrating thingy ...
some or most veiled show since every now and then..
donnt know why even mine one has and i spray OFten ..
but what im scared of is when i spray often with a hand
