I got a female veiled from a guy(who under fed them and stuff), and she does have mbd, so i fed her, made the room the right temp everything, and about a week after i got her, this was 18Jul+- i took her to one of my cousins breeders(aslo veileds and panthers), and the male was on my gf shoulder(he wanted to check them out. And she got spots on her(he said she has 'gravid spots') but couldnt feel any eggs, so i want to know how one can check(without x-rays) if she really is gravid, i didnt see lumps by her back legs, and dont know how to tell, so im a bit concerned about that because i had to force feed her since i got her because she didnt want to eat(and got her back on track with liquid calcium), she started to eat on her own again, but now she doesnt eat at all anymore,so i feed her twice a day9force feeding again), but i dont want to it might be harmfull towards her if she is gravid. And how can one incorporate a better egg laying ground in a cage without causing ehr to much stress.
Thank you
Leon

Well If she is gravid she well stop eating all together. My female veiled stopped eating a couple of days before laying her eggs. Try to keep an eye on her because if she starts to hang out at the bottom of the cage you know it's time to get a egg laying bow for her. (container with mosit playbox sand) And if she starts to dig it well take 24 hours to dig the tunnel and to lay the eggs.

Put an egg-laying container in her enclosure now! There is no harm in offering the option to her. Make sure she can climb in and out freely and give her privacy.

You can gently palpate her stomach to feel for eggs. If she is gravid, you would feel what would feel like a string of pearls in her stomach. As she gets closer and closer to laying, these "string of pearls" get bigger and bigger.

If her background color was quite dark when she was in sight of the male, then she is non-receptive/gravid and will be producing eggs.

I always provide a container of washed playsand in cages of egglaying chameleons once they are sexually mature. (How old is she?) The smallest the container should be is big enough that when its empty she will fit into it with at least a couple of inches to spare on all sides including above and below her. I fill it about 3/4 full of moistened washed play sand. This give the female a place to start to dig so that you won't miss the sometimes subtle signs that she needs to lay eggs.

Concerning the MBD...was it treated?

Please fill out this questionaire...(because of the MBD please be specific on the brand and type (spiral, compact, long linear tube, etc.) of the UVB light and the brand of the basking light. Also, be specific about the gutloading you do, supplement brands and how often you use each)...

Please post some pictures of her too.

Mbd

Ok, the tube im using is UVB 5.0 from exo tera.
The calcium powder and liquid calcium is both T-Rex.
I dont use basking light as i have a constant heat in the room of 26deg celcius and natural sunlight from 7am till 7pm at the moment.
I use the liquid calcium twice a day on her one drop each time, and calcium dust 3 times a day during feeding.
The mbd was treated het coloration is better then used to be and she looks really stunning now, and she can atleast pick her self up by the branches and dont shake at all when moving anymore.
her two front legs are bowl but not to bad.
I will post a picture of the male and female by tomorrow.

The link Kinyonga provided is very helpful in giving other members the scope of your situation to provide the best answers possible. I will go ahead and copy paste what it asks.

It really saves time providing all the information instead of it being asked post by post over a period of a day or 2.

Good luck!
