please help now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thankyou. i will try digging a hole for her. I dont have any liquid calcium , i will make sure i get some tomorrow from the vet .i lightly dusted two waxworms and sprayed them with water.and she did eat them.the eggs are 14mm.thankyou for the support miss lily .the kind words jessica and your experience and patience kinyonga .

Gosh this must be so anxious making for you!
I do agree getting to the vet is the thing to do as soon as you can. Helping her by making a starter tunnel is a good suggestion. And I think its a relatively good sign that she is still dropping eggs. Obviously not as good as if she were properly digging and laying, but better than if she was just stuck.

good luck!

thanks .yesterday morning , we set off for the vet there was no more snow but everything was frozen.we ended up traffic bound !!!we had to divert to the other side of town and eventually found a vet . he was not experienced with reptiles but under the circumstances agreed to give her an injection of oxsitosin or something. she is fine up to now
.no more digging
2 more wax worms
i poo
15 gulps of water from a sryinge [thanks ooost16]
this morning im off to take her for a calcium injection, in a warm sand container with lid with a hot water bottle on my lap

no... there was a string of four teeny round 1mm white beads which was hanging from her but i dont know if that was eggs or not beceause the 4 others she laid 3 days ago were 14mm .she also did huge poo .the vet gave her calcium injection this morning and ive to go back tomorrow morning at 9am for another calc injection...no new year celebrating for me tonight !
all the best to you and thanks

Oxytocin is used to stimulate them to lay (much like an induced human labour). You said that she dropped a huge poop - I am thinking that maybe she had a blockage somwhere. Do you use any substrate on the floor of her cage? Just wondering if she had managed to eat something she shouldn't have at some point, which bunged her up!

String of "beads"

The string of little round things are underdeveloped eggs. Females have two strings of eggs. One on each side. The eggs are actually incased in a thin membrane. Fully developed eggs pop out of the membrane as the eggs are laid. You never see the membrane. Underdeveloped eggs don't pop the membrane and so the smaller eggs come out attached.

One of two things is going on. The eggs that already came out could be part of this string that is hanging out. Often infertile eggs don't even develop all the way before the female tries to lay them. The first ones laid in each string are the most developed and egg-like looking. Then the others along the string start being less and less developed as they get to the most internal end of the string. Both strings could be like this. Or it could be a situation where one string is pretty developed and the other is not. It's a good sign though that something else came out. Can you still feel eggs in her tummy? How packed does she feel or look now?

hello does that mean she has different size eggs in her !Its Fri 1st jan
i took her for her second calc injection today.the vet said he can still feel eggs.i have taken some reference photos if anybody is interested.the vet said come back monday for another oxytocin injection.she is still eating 2 0r 3 waxworms a day dusted with calc and drinking well from a sryinge.she dosnt feel as taught as she was which maybee beceause of the poo but there is deff eggs there poss 10x14mm.wheni put her in a wee bath at 35 and slowly bring up the temp to 37-38 she starts to squeeze for around 5 mins on and off or sometimes she closes her eyes .she is a lovley colour her eyes arnt sunken .It has been 6 days since she laid the first 3 eggs.everything i do with her is super slow speed.
please can you tell me if im doing ok.

Sounds encourageing....

I think your comments on her overall appearance sounds encouraging. I think you are doing great. You are doing exactly what a good and responsible keeper is doing. Continue the warm baths and syringe hydrating. I would feed her something other than wax worms though. They have very little nutrition and should only be offered as a treat. Are you offering her crickets? That is the only other thing I can suggest. Otherwise just continue as you are. I think we would all like to see whatever photos you have. Photos are sometimes better than words.

she wont look at crickets or even small locusts.when i give her the bath ,she has a shallow end and a deeper end , one side is slightly warmer than the other so she can choose where she wants to sit.i put my hand in atleast 3 times before she decides to come out .ill post that photo too when i figure out how ! she did another poo with jelly stuff around it so i dont think shes constipated
i forgot to mention the vet said theyre not suppose give calcium and oxytocin.injections together.
monday , she gets a second oxytocin jab
.thankyou for the reasurance

So... how are you and your cham today?
I once had a female veiled cham who layed 56 eggs at the combined weight of 56 gram Which was a 1/3 of the total weight. She spend like 24 hours concentrated digging and nesting when I finally found the right combination of sand/bark/clay for her... she had been digging for a while before.

You are doing a super job! so keep up the good work:)

thankyou .i wont give up on her . last night she laid a huge egg , still on the branch i took a photo it measures 21mm !!!! i managed to get her to eat a cricket by disguising it as a wax worm [my talents are growing ??]ill leave it to your imagination ,i feel much happier today i hope the rest of the eggs arnt that big...or is this a normal size? .she still wont go near the sand bin yet so i took it out and have put the sand/soil/damp
directly into the bottom of her viv ,its a big viv .its still deep and hopefully more natural for her today we have had lots more snow .she gets her 2nd jab of oxytocin. can anybody tell me how many jabs are normal?

That's good news....

That's good news about the big egg passing. It's definitely not a normal size. That may have been what was holding things up. It may actually be two eggs that fused together. Infertile eggs often fuse together to become big oval globs. I'm not sure that more than two injections will be needed. Your vet will determine that. At this point I think she's given up on the digging thing. Keep the laying stuff there, but I honestly think she is just going to spit them out whereever at this point. Keep us posted and keep up the cricket feeding!

took her today we got stranded roads are gridlock .but made it.the vet just gave her a calc jab. He said if she could pass the huge egg on sat and a normal one on sunday she didnt need the oxytocin.Bugeeta was very angry at the jab today ,tha vet said that was a better sign If she lays another egg today i will let you know.[one egg a day , maybee she thinks shes a chicken !!]
snowed in today, hope shes ok

What a trip!

You certainly have had to work extra hard with the weather. It sounds like the vet is a bit encouraged by the progress too. This must be so stressful for you. I hope you have ways to relax. Your girl has a good Mommy :D

glad everythings worked out ok so far, sounded really streesfull for you both.
i put a camara in my egglaying box, to keep an eye on my cham,
but after laying 67 eggs through the night i found her almost dehydrated to death , i was unable to save her in the end, please dont let same thing happen to yr girl, make sure yr cham drinks
now all you got to do is wait a pain staking 7/9 months for yr eggs to hatch
hope all ends well :)
