Please help! I'm worried my cham is dieing...

Chewy is a few months old veiled and has always been healthy. This morning he was fine. He was hunting and his colors were normal. About two hours ago I looked in his cage and he was almost pale yellow white and laying on the ground. He can barely lift his head up. I forced water down his throat but what else can I do? He was fine only a few hours ago. Can anyone help?

Sounds like dehydration , how much water has he been drinking before you found him on the floor

Please don't force a chameleon that is laying on the floor of the cage and weak. You will likely fill up its lungs.

If it's behaving this way, I would say get it to a vet right away...but we need more information too.

Yes he has a little dripper that he seems to be drinking from regularly. It does seem like he is dehydrated though... I checked the dripper and it was working fine. So I am confused to why he would not be drinking from it like he normally does. Is there anything I can do to revive him or get fluids into him? I dont have a vet that is open anywhere near until tomorrow and I'm afraid he may not make it through the night.

He is acting like he is choking on something? Could he have accidently swallowed his own tongue?

he could be choking from the water. Was he choking before you force fed him the water?
