Please help identify this weird sack I found in my chameleons cage!

This is actually my boyfriends chameleon but as he is away a lot, I have the joy of taking care of this little creature :) today I found a soft sack looking thing and after browsing countless pictures of veiled chameleon eggs, I pretty much ruled that out, especially considering there is just one and eggs are usually plentiful. I'm continuing to examine it and I'm not so sure though. If anyone could tell me what this is I'd be so appreciative. I would have a guilty conscience if I threw it away not knowing what it is.. Even though it might just be poop :)

It looks like stool to me. Did you squish it/open it?

Nope! I was scared it might be a baby chameleon :( if that is stool, do you know if it's something to be concerned about?

I don't know. But if it's poop it's interesting poop. Lol
I'm gonna keep up with this thread. Now I'm dying to know.

i vaguely recall my jackson's stool looking like that.... well... not so large... i dont think...

I agree it is poop. The orange is part of the urate which may have broken off and dropped on a leaf, branch or plant pot etc. or it could just be a very tiny urate. Usually their poop is more elongated but I have seen a few round ones like that also.
