Hi Everyone!
I have a veil Chameleon that i have had for a couple of weeks now, and it had been healthy until now. I saw him last night, as he was hunting a cricket, he blew a massive bubble out of his nose and almost scared himself! and he ran straight back up to the heat lamp, thats when i noticed quite stringy, thick saliva in his mouth, although he is still drinking and eating like he did before. As I understand that this could be a number of reasons, like URI or Mouth Rot. But i read another thread about chameleon illness on this site and the description was exactly the same as mine. The owner on the other thread was prescribed some antibiotics for his chameleon, and I am wondering whether or not someone could provide me with the name or more info on the antibiotics used. I really want to take him to a vet but I have not been able to find a reptile veterinarian as I am based in Hong Kong. Would appreciate any help I can get.. I am really worried for him.
