Play Sand?

Hey guys!
So my rescued female just laid eggs for the first time since I’ve had her, second time in her life that I know of. She did fine, except that she dug a tunnel in one of her plants and ultimately it caved in on her. I was watching her really closely and was able to get her out without any issues, however, I want to set her up a better lay bin using some play sand for next time. I’m wondering what everybody uses, which company, and from where? It seems that this would help with the caving in, is that a correct assumption?
Thanks!

For many years I've used sand produced by Kings that comes in a white bag with red, blue, yellow sand toys on the front. It passes through them if ingested and doesn't cause any issues with the eyes, etc.
