Plants

So I'm wondering if I could get a hibiscus tree plant and put it next to my enclosure with a fake vine going from the enclosure door to the tree would they just come and go from there cage as they please? I'll make sure not to let the dogs in the room while they're outta their cage.

More than likely they'll come out and roam around the plant. My guy never wants to go back in his cage. But you'd just have to keep an eye on him to watch him from 'escaping'. You'll have to give the plant artificial light or put it outside in the sun to keep it thriving.
Yes, NO dogs in the room when the cham is out.

Hibiscus needs HUGE amounts of light to thrive. Instead I would go with a schefflera or something similar. Free ranging behaviors really depends upon the chams personality. My female veiled could never be trusted, she would always go to ground and get lost. My male panther is easy, he just love to stay in his tree and look tough.

I have found my favorite is a simple pvc outdoor enclosure I built for freeranging. I can leave him outside all day (weather permitting) and not have to worry about escape, or other animals.

Unfinished, but you get the idea

Thanks, how do I properly clean the plant in case of pesticide? I put it in the shower for a bit but I've heard to use soap, how do I get every leaf?

I bought a ficus for inside and a hibiscus for outside, I LOVE your PVC enclosure I'm gonna try to do something like that, maybe a little smaller cuz my guys stay pretty small and I'd be afraid To lose one in the cage! Lol

Hibiscus work fine and look great when blooming but the leaves are a bit large. I prefer shefflara or ficus for the little guys.

I can move the ficus from inside to outside if need be. Any info on cleaning the plant properly?

Mix up some dish soap and water in a spray bottle. Spray the plant and leaves really well, don't forget the undersides of the leaves. Let it sit until just about dry and rinse in the shower. Do this a few times.
