Hey I have a Jackson chameleon and a flap neck cham coming for my birthday. What plants should I use I am building a cage with my dad thats glass in the front and glass in the back with a fan on the side with the screen on the sides the cage is 24 x 24 x 48. should I get a silk ficus tree thats like 3 feet from Walmart or go to some plant store and get one there. Whats a good plant thats a good size for a 24 x 24 x 48 cage thats not that pricey?

Buy a 8-10 inch live Pathos for each cage, it will fill the cage. Hang it from the top. Use live plants to help with humidity.

You will need a cage for each with a visual barrier between the 2 cages so the 2 don't see each other.

CHEERS!

I agree totally a Pathos is cheap, and virtually indestructible they can live in just water.

Another one I have had good results with is Coffee Trees (Coffea arabica). Lowes and Orchard Supply used to sell these plants in a couple sizes. However I have not seen them for sale at these store in a long while. If you want one you may have to buy one from an exotic nursery on line.
