Planting soil

wat kinda soil can i use on the bottom of the cage to grow plants outa but at the same time avoid having my cham eat it and die... he's my new baby panther amiblobe from chameleon company (coming tomorrow) just setting up his cage.
please suggest somthing only from your own exsperience no i thinks or maybes thanks people

From what ive read you should only have paper towels at the bottom of the cage If I were you I would just grow plants out of pots

I use miracle grow organic, (was the only one I could find in home depot without any chemical ferts in it), but what I do is put rocks over the soil then cover the rocks with a towel so no crickets can get in there and so my cham cant get at the dirt.

thats why im asking about it im making a viv and from what i read they just cover it... with some sort of moss or somthing to keep the chams from it thanks please nooooo more posts on this thread ive figured it out.
