Plant questions??

Hey everyone, in my enclosure I have an umbrella plant, with all the misting and the dripper running all day, the plant is overflooding and releasing brown water from the bottom. The plant is also drooping and dieing. I was wondering what is a good tall plant to use that can really handle a lot of water?

umbrella trees are very hardy plants and i use it in all my cages. it sounds like you need to setup some drainage in the pots. i drill a bunch of holes on the bottom of the pot and i line the bottom of the pot with 1/2 inch of pebbles. other people mix the soil with sand to help as well.

I find ficus to be heartier than the umbrella(sheffelera) plants. I don't have the best of luck with them either unless they are outside!
