Plant light on sale

My boyfriend showed me this and I'm wondering If it could work for our guys cage, its 36high×18deep×36long. I got a 36 inch tall umbrella tree, 2 pothos, and a few other small plants in there.
*edit to add. Someday soon we will be purchasing another 36 inch t5ho hood from pangea, to use the bulb that comes with it as the plant light but that'll be maybe a month(hopefully sooner) before we can order it.

Can't tell much of anything from that pic. Is it incandescent or LED? If it's incandescent or halogen, it'll throw off considerable heat. As a plant light, it'll probably work for whatever it's aimed at, but coverage may be limited. ?‍♂️

For a little less wattage, these produce a heck of a lot of light, and are rated to burn 50K hrs. and warranteed for 5 yrs.

They will work great(6400k incandescent), but not be very efficient, and will need to be replaced often. A halogen will be much more efficient and last at least twice as long.

I would use these for cold babies and hang the non reflector version next to the cage with no hood. it just dangles and creates a hot pocket. But thats only if air temp doesnt reach the mid 70's during the day.

Here's the post with my decision criteria:

When you figure in cost of replacements over the years (2K hrs. vs. 50K hrs.) it's almost a no-brainer. ? ?

I'm very satisfied with them.
