Dead center (or close as possible) works just fine, and position the UVB & basking lights around it.
It only needs less than an inch between light & screen.

I have one as well, I have it centered. I initially bought 2 but that was WAY too bright.

I have mine centered, towards the front, uvb dead center, and heat bulb center behind uvb.

Thank you. I have been testing it out for heat emission and it gives heat off for about 4-5 inches.
