Not sure if someone came up with this idea already or has been having there same issue as me but...
so my problem was that I have a big plant for my cham which is the only real plant in there since it’s has huge leaves for water drinking and keeping the humidity up in good temps and helps him with his hiding places, but the pot is huge.
So from misting the cage and watering the plant, after a couple days later the pot holder would fill up with water and leak also his food would sometimes jump and end up in the water and drowning.
Instead of replacing the plant, i decided to find a way to drain the water whenever it fills up from the pot holder.
Added rocks to the pot holder so his food won’t end up in water plus i took some tubing and a valve and put a hole in the pot holder so when water starts to drain from the soil, or from misting, it would just drain out before it even fills up causing a spill etc.
so if anyone has been having a similar problem this an easy fix and solution.
