Placentation Jackson's chameleons

This is a primarily arboreal species whose adults are from 152-711 mm in length, nearly one-half made up of the tail.
Approx. 6" to 28". I did not know any of the sub-species got that big!

No I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of any chameleon getting 28 inches long! There must have been some misinformation on their part!

Meller's & Parson's chameleons can get pretty close to that.
The largest of the chameleons from the African mainland, large male Trioceros melleri typically reach 24 inches (61 cm) in length, but exceptionally large specimens have reputedly reached over 30 inches (76 cm) in length and have weighed 21 oz (600 g)

The widespread Calumma parsonii reaches up to 68 cm (27 in) in total length (including tail)

But I'd never heard of any Jackson's subspecies that big. I think you're right, but IDK.
