My tank has Terranium dirt at the bottom, in case, would that be ok for her to lay eggs in or would she need a separate place?

A seperate place is best. Chameleons will dig down pretty deep. About 8-12" of dirt is a good idea for a laying bin. I use a 20 gallon Brute Rubbermaid bin with about 8" of dirt inside. This works because the cham can't see out and there is plenty of room to have a plant inside with the cham.

Don't move the cham until you think you are ready. Some people do place the cage over a 5 gallon bucket so the cham can enter the substrate on it's own without leaving the cage. The only issue with this is that you won't know if she laid unless you are keeping weights and before she laid, she looked really fat from eggs.
