Pill Bug FAIL!!!!

This blows i was outside harvesting some more pillbugs and BAM!!!!I DROPPED THE JAR OF ABOUT 50-60 PILL BUGS i pnly saved like 5 the rest got away but i got about 20 more after finishing harvesting trying to get them to have babies and get clean batches

Wow that sucks that u dropped all of them but good luck with the colony u r starting, I am thinking about starting one when it gets warmer here. Hopefully it works out for u, u should postnsome pics of ur set up

Sorry about the mishap but cool colony. Never really thought about breeding these...they are in my Naturalistic Viv though

Oh that does stink and I understand you pain. Today I opened a box of 1000 crickets and forgot to stick the box in the bin when I opened it... yep 1000 crickets running around the house now

That sucks! I did the same thing with hoppers I planned on starting a colony with, 3 hrs and about 150 hoppers in a large cricket keeper later I tripped in some thick brush on my way back to my truck!!! I gave up on it after that, maybe this summer ill try again. Good luck with your colony, I am interested in seeing this keep us updated!

Sure ill try to get pics up of evrything I'm even working on making my own moss vine I made a mixture of some stuff rubbed it on exo terra black vines. And I'm wattering it waiting for the moss to grow its spores

Don't give up! I am definitely interested in starting my own pill bug colony but am pretty clueless as far as breeding them goes
