Awesome!!! Congrats on such a nice clutch :)

Just out of curiosity, does the "excess" amount of white coloration on there heads make them more susceptible to burns? Can they darken up the white areas, or is there simply no color pigments in there?

Sorry, not to familiar with veileds, let alone translucents.

Kevbek.

I Dont know for sure. I have seen no ill effekts on me adult animals.

But they are not transculent on the head.

I only keep them indoor, because I have no garden. In terrariums I see

no problems. I live in Dk. so I`m only talking about keeping outdoor in summertime.

The female is very shy ?? thats why she is brown. She almost act like a wc.

Me goal is to breed more white an less transculent. I have a clutch from another female that will hatch in abouth 6 weeks.

Very unique looking chams. You don't keep them together all the time right? And in glass fish tanks either? Just the pics seems that way.

If I`ts the adult animal you write abouth.I keep them seperated, only together

when breeding.

The terrariums is costumbuild, half glass half wirenets ? (spells ?)

more pics.

As promised.

Pure girl. She has been feed and hydraited many time since.

Nest being robt. ;-).

Lucky, there was no more.Dont have more room in the incubaiter !

I now have 108 eggs from this female. She will not bee breed again.

at my place.Looking forward to see her first cluth hatch soon.

Monster growing female !

Want to share with you the grow off a female baby from the clutch.

Look at her ! She is a keeper.

She is from a clutch hatch the 28-02-2014. Only 3 month old. What do you think ?

Here is the male I am keeping. From same clutch.

Last but not least, a 6 days old baby, from clutch number 2. Female 2 layed.

Very interesting looking clutch. Time will show. :)

sorry the blurry pics . Taken with only one hand.

As promised.

Pure girl. She has been feed and hydraited many time since.

I must say I am astonished she layed eggs in this condition. And did not perish afterwards. That is one of the most sickly chameleons I have seen, no less an egg laying female.

Im not trying to be critical or aggressive, just amazed that an animal that bad would still have the resources to lay eggs.

Quite a testment to these animals' resiliency. Dehydration to that degree would certain impair kidneys, amongst other organs. They gotta be tough to pull through that. Shes fully recovered now? Did she do this at every egg lay? Im surprised she didnt get egg bound.

Its hard work for her to digg alot and laying 60 eggs..

so its no suprise she looked lik that.Yes she is in good shape again.
