Im not grasping how the top of the set up looks when it is all set up. can someone take a picture standing over the top of one then describe what the items are. Also I would love to see a drainage system that is under the cage, before you set the cage on it. Thank you

I'll provide you a link to my setup which was completed on October 31st. My chams love their new homes and having a drainage system makes life easier for me and its a lot more healthy for my chams. You can't see what the top of the cage looks like but you can see I have my UVB hoods across the front, and behind them I place the basking dome near where my chams like to bask. It sometimes changes so I move it to accommodate them! I also have a Big Dripper on top which I angle anyway I can to get the water dripping through the top screen and over some leaves. The dripper really is necessary as your Cham will learn it is a trusted water source and learn to go there when thirsty! Hope this helps!

drainage question posting picture

Perfect picture for drainage hook up. Now I understand. Do you put the pipe in the center of the cage? Only thing, I purchase this beautiful expensive table just for him, plus a custom made tray to fit the cage directly into so no one could bump it not it slide, I'm sure my husband wont be thrilled with drilling through it. But you got to do what you got to do. Thank you for your help. I'll wait to bread the bad news to my husband in the morning after church, maybe that will help, lol are you in michigan? trying to find one in Michigan.

I'm happy I could be of help, but alas, I'm not in Michigan! My husband is not such a chameleon/reptile guy but he always enjoys it when I am happy with my chams and their setup, so as long as I'm happy, he's happy. Maybe you can 'play' on that to convince your hubby to cut through the new cabinet! :D

Each of my cages have a hole in the centre of the floor with the one on the right directly draining via pvc pipe into the bucket. the cage on the left also has a hole in the middle of the floor with a pipe draining down and then along on a slope via more pipe, into the drainage bucket! Hope this helps!! Good luck!
