I let Cush bask in the natural sunlight today for the first time. He was loving it. He got very bright colors all over his body, his patterns were unlike anything he has ever showed before.

I have to take them out separately because Caine is a bit vicious . Everytime he sees Cush he runs towards his edge of the cage and starts taunting him. I had to put a black trashbag in between the two of them to prevent their egos from getting too out of whack . I plan on taking Caine out for some sun this week, which is when I also plan on taking some more pictures. The only problem is its super hot here now so I don't take them out as much as I would like.

Thanks guys. The tricky part is trying to get my carpet to show his colors . Most of the day he is dark green and sometimes black, but every once in awhile he sparks some awesome colors (of course each of those times I haven't had my camera on ). I took him out for some sunbathing a few days ago and he still refused to show me some color. Anyone know of any tricks to make chameleons flare up their colors besides the sun? I noticed that he becomes full yellow and very light green when he sleeps, it looks awesome. I have snapped some pictures of him sleeping before, but they didn't turn out good and after awhile he woke up and gave me the evil eyes .
