RED/Blue

Here is one of my red bars, then a blue bar and finally one that is a red and blue bar.
There are a lot of variations of ambilobes. Most are blue and some are red. When you cross a red and blue bar, you will get some that look red, some blue and soome a mixture.

This is why I'm so unsure of buying an Ambilobe!
I would be SO upset if I paid 350$ and got a red bar,
but I'd be ecstatic if I got a blue bar.
Love the blues, not so much the reds though.

I think I will just try to buy an adult when the opportunity arises.

hmmmmmmm....So if they have more red than blue they are red bared and vise versa......becasue your cham in the middle lance has that stunning red but its bars are blue....That is what is so confusing to me........

I know what you mean..........I like them either way.....People tell me Ester is a blue bared........but he has red legs and belly and his stripes are green blue and red...........

The color of the barring determines whether it is a red/blue bar. So the middle pic is a blue bar.

Kanto, our red bar Ambilobe panther

Here are some pictures from Kanto, our red bar Ambilobe panther!
The bars are changing the coloration many times.
Sometimes they are totaly red, sometimes the are filled with blue.
This is depent of temperature, light and mood.
