What a handsome boy. Is his skin texture different than the ambilobes? My ambanja has this cool reptile texture, where my ambilobes are very soft.

Yeah, his skin is like a marshmallow, not squishy but soft and a hint of roughness.

I’m new to chameleon keeping but did a lot of research using the forum, Neptune the Chameleon, and Chameleon Academy.

I want to make sure I am good on everything so could you send me the list that I’ve seen you send others with all your enclosure supplies and equipment (I don’t know where to find it) so I can fill it out and see if I need to change anything.

Here you go. If you followed Neptune’s and Chameleon Academy’s husbandry guidelines, all should be perfect. If you’d like to just make sure, I totally get it.

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
• Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
• Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
• Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
• Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
• Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
• History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
• Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
• Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
• Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
• Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
• Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
• Location - Where are you geographically located?

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon - Ambanja Panther, Male, and 5 months. 1 and a half months
• Handling - Twice a week (he is super calm)?
• Feeding - Crickets and Dubias as staple feeders and superworms as treat bugs. About 8 bugs. Everyday at 11:35 and I check on his eating at 3:35 and 7:35. H with carrots and sweet potatoes.
• Supplements - Arcadia earth pro a : everyday except for the 1st and 14th of the month and Reptivite: 1st and 14th of the month
• Watering - I fog and mist every night. A minute 3 times a night. Yes I see him drink every once in a while.
• Fecal Description - Cream, moist, seems good. Hasn’t been tested for parasites.
• History - No he hasn’t shown any signs of sickness and seems well.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Zoomed screen 24x24x48 and sealed with duck window seal on back and sides.
• Lighting -Wh Arcadia UVB: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Arcadia LED: 8:00 to a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Zoomed deep dome and exo terra heat bulb: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Temperature - Basking: 82 degrees During Day: 77 to 72 degrees Night: 66 degrees Thermometer connected to phone.
• Humidity - During Day: 50% Night: 70% Hygrometer connected to phone.
• Plants - Live plants: 3 pothos, 1 monstera, 2 banana plants small though
• Placement - I have it by the dining room. Not really much people go there and it’s not by any air vents. About 2 and a half ft of the ground.
• Location - Texas, USA
