That's cool!! 
Did she take it with her tongue or her teeth? How did you get her to even try it in the first place? Lily gave up with grape as she couldn't get it to stick to her tongue. I might try Lily with a bit of apple - we might have better luck with that! She has eaten a couple of bits of 'wild rocket', but no fruit as of yet.

My other half put some on his hand the first time, which on reflection was a bad idea as she knocked it off and then bit a whole in his t-shirt trying to catch it lol. Then he offered her some in his fingers which she took happily. Since then either of us can offer it and she will quickly gobble it up. She just took the first piece today with her mouth (got video of it) the second peice she took with her tongue.
I will try strawberries too and see if she likes them, i hadn`t thought of them. I did offer grape, but she didn`t seem interested. I have been lucky i guess in how quickly she has taken to us - the rewards far out weigh the hard work and i now understand why everyone becomes addicted to these wonderful little creatures.

I'll agree with you there, Sally! They certainly are addictive little critters!! I'm totally obsessed with Lily . It's like having another child - you just want to shout about it to the whole world when they do something 'cool'! Lily is friendly too like your Gizzy - they are just so amazing! I don't think I'd have more than one at once though - I want to enjoy Lily and devote my time to her needs.
