My veileds love my home grown phoenix worms. Been growing them for over 3 months now. I even have a frozen supply when it gets cold.
I don't dust them but when I have them in containers(not in grow bucket) they get a part of a veggie or a cube. As they get fed to my girls bearded, my tokeys and veileds.
A real treat is the fly itself. I have given them acouple as to chase.
Took about 2 weeks to get a solid colony going using the blacksoldierfly blog bucket.
