Phoenix worms ??

what are people's thoughts on Phoenix worms? I'm currently feeding my two month old Cham just crickets but I'm getting some worms soon so I was just curious as to what people thought of Phoenix worms.

I feed my cham pheonix\ calci\ repti worms. I also like to try small hornworms, small superworms, wax worms(sparingly), butterworms, flightless fruit flies, black soldier flies, and waiting to order silk worms. Every chameleon is different , some are pickier than othera so trying new things is a great way to determine what to feed your little one. Variety is great for chameleons and I'm pretty sure everybody will agree that variety makes things more interesting and can most likely prevent the cham from getting bored of any one feeder.

Phoenix worms are excellent feeders. My young veileds loved them. Some of my adults like them also. As mentioned above a variety of well gutloaded feeders is best.

Phoenix worms are naturally high in calcium, and then when they pupate they become a great enrichment feeder as the black soldier fly, though the fly themself might be a bit big for your 2 month old. I feed the flies to my adults and they eagerly accept them.

Phoenix worms are not only the highest feeder in calcium, but the Phosphorus/Calcium ratio is perfect for easy absorption. I think of Black Soldier Fly larvae (marketed under names like Phoenix Worms, Calci Worms and Repti Worms) as a necessary natural calcium supplement rather than just a source of protein.

The biggest problem with BSFL was the cost. I've noticed some vendors with much lower costs on higher quantities recently. Alternatively, you can raise your own in much of the USa
