Pheonix worms

I just bought some a couple months ago. I heard so much good stuff about them so I ordered some. They are very healthy but very small. My female wouldn't even touch them, and on top of that they were very hard to feed. You either have to hand feed or cup feed them. They are called worms, but I think they are more like grubs.
I also ordered hornworms and my chams loved them. Even my female will eats those out of my hand. I am going to continue to order hornworms every now and then, and pretty soon I am going to get some silkies for the first time. Now dont get me wrong, pheonix worms are healthy, but I just really don't like them. I actually still have the container of them hoping they will turn into flys

I've never used phoenix worms before but I am getting my second batch of butterworms which I believe are similar to phoenix worms. My chams like them. I usually feed crickets and silkworms. All my chams and Pacman frog love the silkies.
I've tried hornworms a couple of times but they seem hard to find around here. My chams loved those too and they're huge so a couple of hornworms makes a good meal.
I'm starting to raise silkworms so I'll stick with those and crickets as that seems to be working so far. Perhaps with the occasional butterworm and hornworm treat if I can find them.

Yes, I hear some chams don't like the Phoenix worms. Mine happen to like them. My teenage Amilobe will run across the bottom of the cage if he spots one and pick them off quickly one by one. My other Sambava eats them right out of my hand. I think its wort it to buy a small amount of them at least to see if yours will eat them. They do take off and go straight to the floor, which is the most annoying thing about them.
