Petsitters - How to instruct?

I'm leaving for a week and a half on vacation and have a friend watching my cham. I have all of the watering/misting automated and was thinking of filling dixie cups with crickets (and feeder) that he could leave in the cage every day for minimum fuss.

Anyone have any other ideas on making it easy on pet-sitters? I'd love to hear any other advice.

I always write everything down (checklists work great) as well as have as much stuff as I can pre-sorted. I put all the bugs needed into small containers with a little gutload and put them on/in front of the cage they are to be put in, and I also label them just in case. For adult animals I don't worry about supplements unless I'm gone for more than a week. I also put the food for my bug colonies into containers and label them if the bugs need to be fed. Also type up the emergency vet info for them and what to look for so that they can determine if the animal needs to be seen ASAP or if they should just call you first.
