I purchased this umbrella plant a few months ago. I'm certain it had been treated with pesticides/insecticides before being shipped to my local store, but for at least 3 months it has been clean.
Unfortunately, there's still some white residue on the plant. I'm not quite sure if this is pesticide, since I would have assumed the treatment would have washed/drained away by now, so I'm currently at a loss because it definitely looks like pesticide.(If it matters, I can't smell any chemical/pesticide-esque scent)
I've washed down the plant multiple times with soap and water, even with my garden hose, and it does somewhat diminish but the residue still present.
Does anyone have any idea if this is harmful? Or if its even pesticide/insecticide residue? Or how to permanently remove it?
Also, I do not have any chameleons occupying this plant yet, if anyone was worried.
Thank you
