Personality change?

Hello, I'm very new to this. I got my first veiled chameleon about 3-4 weeks ago. Her name is Dandelo. I'm not sure exactly how old she is, I was told she wasn't full grown yet. She is VERY friendly and very social. She would rather be with me than in her cage. When I'd open her cage she'd always want out on my shoulder. I put crickets in her cage, though she prefers to eat dubia and superworms from my hand. The last three days she's been completely different. Not wanting to come out of her cage. Not her normal bright green, but a darker green. She's still eating though. I'm wondering if this is an impending shed? Her skin still looks normal to me. She hasn't shed in the month I've had her and she is getting larger. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

It seems all veilds go through a fairly sudden personality change and get meaner at some point. This is most likely just that point. A pic. If her and of her cage would by helpful to tell if it is something else.

She has mostly real plants, some fake. Would her personality change that quickly and so dramatically? She was really her normal self one night and the next morning totally different. I hadn't changed her cage at all when that happened.
