Hello! As has been done by Nick and Carl before, I would like to host a post-Hamburg get together for local chameleon enthusiasts. People would be welcome to check out my collection, I'll have food and drinks, and could set up insect cultures if anyone needs. It's a little bit of a drive from the show (about an hour) but should be a good time. :)

Sounds great Frank! I will see if I can't convince Amanda to come to the show so we can leave right from there. Dutch Maid donuts are usually my secret weapon to get her to walk through all the snake stands lol.

Haha. Just tell her she'll get to see the baby when she comes over. That might help.

Sorry to jump in here, but Dutch Maid donuts :D. I haven't seen one of those in 30 years. We had one at a local mall. Oh, man, talk about memories of goodness. They were next door to Baskin Robbins.

Yes they are excellent! We will all have to stop after the show as there is one right in Hamburg that we always go to.

I'll have to bring one for Elise, she's the one with the sweet tooth.

Congrats, I am a baby nut. I have had 29 foster kids, and enjoyed almost all of them. I would love to see your baby, but you are a bit far. I may make it out your way the end of summer.

Thank you! Wow, that's impressive! If you make it out here you are welcome. :)

Haha, I've never had one. They must be good?

It has been a looonnggg time since I had one. But, I remember them to be old school donuts. Big, flaky, creamy (but not over rich, like Krispy Kreme). I love KK, but hard to eat more than 2 w/out sore tummy. The DM, I could eat a dozen. They used to have a counter to sit and eat at, with other stuff too. I don't remember what else they sold, other than coffee and fountain drinks. I do remember some rather LARGE people sitting at the counter every visit. Diabetes may have been invented there. Most people bought Baskin Robbins ice cream, and ate a combo of the both in the DM store. :D:eek::)
