Was in Arizona on Monday, had a look around and found this.

Under a medium rock on the top point of a twenty foot drop to a wash.


Also found a desert tort, and tons of other little lizards.Was hoping for a few good shots of rattlers but no snakes, think its still a bit to cold at night.

It is a Gila Monster, sorry didnt put that somewhere. . .they are hard to find because they are underground most of the time.

I was not just walking around lol kinda joked about that. . .we went to find Gilas. I have a buddy who travels for work and he saw a Gila DOR not too far away from this guy, so we went back took about an hour of walking and I happend to be standing at a point on top of a wash and looked down and saw the orange and black tail under that rock in the picture.

My friend has been looking for them in the field for like 15 years and had never found one, only the one DOR.
