Zen Reptiles Avid Member Jan 13, 2012 #5 Just make sure you are getting the edible pea. If you are growing them from seed, and got them in the vegetable area, not the decorational/ornamental area, then they are safe. Anything ornamental that is a pea is toxic. Including sweet pea.
