Pea plant safe?

Are pea plants (common food) chameleon safe? I wanna plant some and let them grow up the back of my chamois cage for a backaround

Just make sure you are getting the edible pea. If you are growing them from seed, and got them in the vegetable area, not the decorational/ornamental area, then they are safe.

Anything ornamental that is a pea is toxic. Including sweet pea.
