Ok so I was just on my computer today reading my emails and I look at my Cham(Chameleon Chameleo) and shes moving on her vines. Then like seriously one minute later shes on her back on leaves in her cage and very dark. Her eyes wouldn't open and she wasnt moving at all. I took her outside and gave her natural sunlight and she came back to life. I fed her four crickets like 30 mins before this happened. Think she was just having like stomach pains or should I be worrying? I was going to take her to the closest herp vet just to get her checked out but its an hour and thirty minutes away!! What do you think it was?!? I have all the right things for her I switch up her diet calcium dust her crickets 2-3 times a week. I was seriously shaking so crazy I thought I was going to lose her :(

The exact same think happened to my female Veiled about 9 months ago. I though she was going to die. I took her outside in the heat, she revived, and we have had no issues since. When I asked back then no one could explain it either!

Phew! Thanks I really was like freaking out it was probably the most scariest thing that has happened with her. Thank god its a beautiful day here yesterday it was 40 and now its 80 LOL I took her cage outside to let her enjoy the sunlight all day. I this when its nice out. Thank again and shes about that age shes about a year think its something natural?

i have never heard of anything like this happening, wow. that would be scary. if that happened to me the only thing i could think was that they just swallowed something and were clogged up or choking?

what is everyone elses thoughts on this

this happened to my guy just the other day, except he was outside(temps weren't an issue).
i went in to pick him up,and he right away was up and at em. acting fine ever since.
it is really freaking indeed.

im sur eyou guys have read that they move and wobble back and forth to simulate a leaf blowing in the wind to hide or blend in better, ive also read that at times they "play" dead. maybe thats what she was doing?

I would guess that they were playing dead here...I had that happen once with a very young cham and it scared me you know whatless. I haven't had it happen when the cham was older. I wouldn't be too worried at all but I would check out your vivs to see if there is something different just to elimate that as a possibility.
