So Pascal went to the vet again this am. I discussed with her how he still hasn't pooped, won't eat, is getting dehydrated, and still has weak grip in the back. I also discussed how he only shed on his tail this week. No other spot. I also told her I caught him twice sleeping during the day.
We did his ultrasound and the great news is that his liver and kidney still look completely normal. However, his intestines are enlarged still and there was signs of mineralization. She also agrees he is dehydrated. So the plan for now is that we gave him sq fluids, started him on metaclopermide, continue cisapride, and gave him a tiny amount of butorphanol to hopefully relax him so he can get the poop out. I am to continue the two oral meds and also try to force feed him Pedialyte and water. Also critical care if he will take it. He will then go get another enema if he doesn't poop. When we came home he did pass small amount of HARD urate and small amount of HARD stool. So that is good. However, we still need to say our prayers. He isn't out of the woods yet. He has to poop more and recover his hydration. I plan to mist more and shower him to help with this. Please continue to pray for him. Thanks for all the support.
