Judging from your avatar picture, you have had a successful breeding attempt with you ambilobes.
Are you using mercury vapor bulbs?
The only thing I see as a problem:
No visual barrier between cages

When i make this set-up, i look all my cameleons for the stress. No stress colors and the behaviour has remained the same. But my set-up is like this juste a few days, if i see a litle bit of stress i put a withe plastic paper.

Looks good. A lot like my setup, actually. I agree with Justin, though, you'll probably need something between them to block vision. I use aquarium backing paper.
