Nice. Katydid season is really just getting started here in southern California. Have had a mild summer until last week. I caught two over the weekend, and can hear many more calling at night.

I let them free range outside several times a week. They are hard to find sometimes.

really im over in western pa and iv bn outside alot yeah alot of katydids but iv never seen a walking stick.
alot of locus everywhere to bad most are way to larger for my cham.

I find walking sticks at night on ivy, rose,and blackberry.

Have got to say it your male in the second video has the best colors that I have seen in an Orange Eye in a long time. This year for me there are more mantis than normal than hopper and katydids normally here this time of year in California. It has been a cool summer and not nearly as many hoppers are out.
