Parsonii slowly growing

Hey guys,
just wanted to show you some pics of my 7 months old c.parsonii which i keep for about 2 months now.
I had a lot of trouble in the beginning but fortunately, two very suited people with vast knowledge and experience with this species helped me.
Otherwise this cute little guy would most probably be dead by now.

He´s not really lilac but more greyish/brownish, the lilac-effect might be because he is about to shed in the next few days.

I´m really very thankful i got some help just in time.
I just hope he´s a male as i had to find out he is with very high probability a WC!!!
The seller tricked me, he´s a really bad man who really doesn´t care about the species at all!!
Unfortunately, WC females will die in almost every case

He is looking good, I think most chams grow slow. My deremensis are growing so slow I ofter wonder if they grow at all. It is good to hear you found people to help.

Well, normally parsons of his age are way bigger than he is now, which also shows that he was most probably put under a lot of stress (flight from madagaskar, unsufficient keeping by seller etc.)

What is his/her weight? Also why do you say almost all WC females die?

I don´t weigh him, it only means stress.
They mostly die (at least in europe) because the seasons are different than in madagaskar.
As Parsons only lay eggs once a year at the same time, the eggs will be inside the female half a year longer. Then they are too big to be layed, you know what happens then. They also have massive problem with the contrary seasons in europe.
