Parsonii Hatching!

That's amazing and a testament to your husbandry. I've always known that the Pacific Northwest would provide a good climate for keeping and breeding of Parsons.

To the best of my knowledge Dennis Fitzgerald bred Parsons during the 1990's and he was from Washington. That area does have a great climate for montane species though.

Ok. If you guys are going to twist my arm I may be interested in a few.
Feel like a Parsonii hoarder!

There are a lot worse things to hoard! You get a few of those parsons - you deserve them. Once you started cbb parsons the rest followed. You are still the man.

Here's some pics from today, these guys are growing like weeds!
And one of the sire, grumpy as usual.

oh jeez, they are late bloomers...sometimes they can fool you up to a year old.
Usually around 6-8 months they start to show some color, males get a little orange to the turrets and the bars are more tan brown, and females have greener bars with a grey background color, sometimes a little yellow in the turrets. But you won't really know for sure until the color change really starts to fill in or you see horn nubs.
Andreas has a theory about wavy skin on their backs predicting males.. some of mine have it and some don't, I'm curious to see if it's true:)

All the babies are doing great, 6 weeks old already!
