Hi everyone, Yesterday to my amazement my parsonii went out for the first time through his hatch from his indoor viv to his outdoor greenhouse lean to on his own- He's been very shy and didn't imagine he would have the courage to go through and outside until next summer- I thought I'd open the hatch anyway and let him at least view his new room but he went out without any hesitation, getting him back I had to pick him up for the first time and i placed him in the entrance of the hatch and he went through on his own. Today I got a few pics- he's a little nervy of my shoving a big black camera at him so looking a bit weird in the 2nd pic, but it's great to see him out for some natural UV and exercise before the winter. There's another room beyond his then the furthest room is his girlfriend's , she's out all day now and has been for a couple of months so guessing he will be too which is great.

AGAIN- to my amazement- he has just eaten his first roach via forceps outdoors- with me standing right next to him , unbelievable- when I first got him 10 weeks ago he was so scared and feeding was difficult if he even saw me at all, I'd have to add food then retreat quickly or peek through a gap of a door to see whether he was eating He hadn't had breakfast as he wanted to get outside so I wanted to try and feed him but thought i stood little chance, He proved me wrong again.

Fantastic! He is going to love it! :D

I really wish I could build something this luxurious for the Bucks where he can come and go safely at will. Being outside has such an amazing calming effect on Bucky - he is so shy and nervous in his cage, but outside he is king with no fears.
