has anyone used Doxycycline for a chameleon URI? thats what i was prescribed with and it seemed to help with the URI but my chameleon hasnt eaten in two days and is alot more active

I have not used this. If your having problems with usage I will suggest that you talk to your vet or a vet on these forums. Also in order to combat the RI up the heat (of course allow the animal to cool is necessary) and bake it out. Keep an eye for wheezing and mucus. There is a medicine (for some reason I cant remember the name) that is standard for treating this. I'm sure someone will chime in with it or tell you whether the one your using is safe. Dr.O and Ferritinmyshoes are our vets you might want to message.
