Panther staying at the bottom of his cage

My panther has been staying at the bottom of his cage for a while his only goes to the top to eat and drink water anything I should be worried about his temp is usually round 80-90

How long has the chameleon been staying at the bottom fo the cage?
Size of cage?
Age of chameleon?
As stated above, how are you measuring temps?
