Panther scratching

Just wanted to check in with others. My 4 month old panther cham was scratching his face today. Looked very much like my dogs when they scratch. It was only once, but thought I would ask if anyone else has seen this? Also, how often do they shed?

Just wanted to check in with others. My 4 month old panther cham was scratching his face today. Looked very much like my dogs when they scratch. It was only once, but thought I would ask if anyone else has seen this? Also, how often do they shed?

As long as he's not scratching so that he is injuring himself, probably nothing. Chams shed more often when they are rapidly growing juveniles and the shed itself can be really quick. The frequency varies depending on growth rate so its hard to predict. As they get older they shed less often and it is slower.
