I live in Las Vegas, so keeping my humidity up in a screen cage is a struggle. It hovers around 50 between mistings but will drop to 30 if the humidifier runs dry. I do have a ficus in there, and plan to add more live plants. I've been reading as much as possible and this forum has been a great source of information. I'm trying to get everything perfect before I decide which Cham to get. I know I probably should be looking at a Veiled but a Panther is what I would really like. My question is about the microclimates of Madagascar. I read on the species database how there are rainforest and dry forest locales. So for example, do Nosy Be's need more humidity because they're from a smaller island then say an ambilobe because they're more inland? Is there a particular locale that will be happy in the lower end of the humidity scale?
