Okay my female just laid Sunday she has been eating and drinking I been dissing and I used Pedialyte mixed with water to hydrate her. I just caught her with her eyes closed is it normal for them to have them do this? It was a clutch of 26 eggs. It is within a hour before lights out. Please help me I am worried about her now.

She laid Sunday and was fine yesterday was up the whole time and it's like 30 mins before lights out then so idk if she is regaining her strength. She's been eating drinking nothing else weird though in going to do a 30 mins of misting tomorrow just so if there's something in her eyes and she can drink really good

I setup a 10 min after lights on and 20 min mid day and a 10 min the third misting so she has plenty of opportunities to re fI'll I guess if she doesn't get better or does this again after a day or 2 I'll take her to the vet. She got back up idk if the thermostat under the light kicked off and it got a little dark and she's beat or what hopefully after a couple days of refueling she will pop right back

If she is going to sleep before the lights are off, but right before they turn off that is okay. Chams do that alot, from what I have read on here. They have an internal clock they know when the lights are going to go off.

If she was sleeping in the middle of the day, that is another matter.

My baby is always on her ficus branch, preparing for or already sleeping an hour or so before the lights go out.

I like to feed horn worms and butter worms after my cham lays to get her hydrated and proteins backs after her ordeal. But that's just what I do you can take it or leave it. (y)

Get her out to the sun light so she can move around "only" under ur supervision and the sun ray usually brings out the best on a cham,if this was the only time with her eye closed then it shouldn't be a problem,if its constantly like this then u will have to take her to a vet just to see if is any deficiency on her body needs.

Okay thank you very much. I plan to order some more horns silks and buttrrs tomorrow I just ran out the other day. That's a great idea I'll do that tomorrow when i get home from work and give her a few long misting while I'm there tomorrow. Thank you both just need to make sure I appreciate it. I keep up my dusting religiously also just so you know. Thanks again
