Panther Hatchling & misting

Hi- this topic seems to cross a couple of categories so I thought I would try here.

I have a panther chameleon egg with an expected hatch date of ~9/1. I'm working on having the enclosure set up and remainder of supplies collected in the next week or so. This is my first cham, so I need help in filling in my knowledge gaps!

My biggest question right now is how to appropriately mist a hatchling. At such a small size is it best to use a hand mister? Do they require the same misting times as adults, or should I cut back?

Ultimately I think I will pick up a commercially made automated mister (pro mist or mist king), but wonder if this would be over kill for the initial small enclosure and tiny cham.

Any pointers are appreciated!

In my opinion hand misting is best early on. That way you can judge how much water to give. Step up to a automatic system when the Cham is older. I suggest getting a aqua zamp system, great product

Thanks! I thought this may also be a good idea so I can be sure to use a warm water mist, which sounds like it will be hard to do with an automated system.
