What is the average number of eggs a panther will lay? And also, is it true, the more times a female lays eggs, the less she will produce? Thanks

after mating, mine laid 3 fertile clutches of 38, 27, and 43 eggs, so her numbers did not decrease.

wow, thats alot... i guess im a little confused bc, i went to the local reptile house and they have a female panther that just laid eggs. however she only laid 2 eggs, so im curious to know as to why she laid so few

She's not done. She is definitely going to lay more. I hope they still have her with a laying bin!
