Panther eggs

will eggs always mold if they are infertile

I have some eggs that I didnt candle when layed
I just assumed they where good but it has been almost a year

Usually they will mold in the first week or two if they are infertile. If they have survived a year, I would say that they are good, just taking their sweet time.

I had a whole batch that were infertile, that almost none of them were fertile and never molded over. They were still yellow after over a year no development whatsoever. So, I would say it can happen, but candle them with a pen light. Dez, has a nice writeup on her about candling of you haven't saw it yet give it a peek.

Egg shells are semi-permeable; they imbibe water whether or not they are fertile. It doesn't mean there's something growing inside.
