My female Nosy Be was bred about 4 weeks ago. I knew she was getting close to term and she began to appear restless and wander a bit this morn. Should have had her laying cage ready, but took about a half hour to switch her to a diff cage with a suitable laying bin.
Not less than 15 min after being in that cage which was covered from viewing, she was digging in a corner(I peeked...).
Was gone for the next four hours. I checked on her again at that point. Nice big hole in corner dug, but there were eggs scattered in the sand and most were on top of the rocks in the schefflera pot. She was positioned halfway up the plant giving me this "What?!?!" look...rather comical.
21 eggs total were laid. Now have them set up properly, but just wanted a couple opinions. I think they look like healthy, well-calcified eggs. Are they about right, as far as size goes? I have another clutch of Ambanja's 6 months along, but could not find the pics when those were laid, to compare.
