How long should i wait after my female has layed her clutch to put her back in with my male? Its already been 3 weeks since she layed them and she is looking very healthy and eating very well.

My friends panther laid a retained clutch and only 1 egg out of them was infertile, she laid them 7 weeks after the first clutch.

3 weeks is WAY to early to be thinking of reintroducing them, my veiled laid a almost 5 weeks ago and she still shows unreceptive colours, although I dont mind breeding this female when I feel like it as she only lays small clutches in the 30`s and she has only ever laid 2 clutches and is 3 years old. But she looks like a 1 year old

My female was put in with my male for 40 minutes on October 10th. She layed her first clutch Dec 20th on the bottom of her cage. (21 eggs of which 9 are still good). She layed her 2nd clutch Jan23rd and dug her tunnel this time (23 eggs all still look perfect) She layed her 3rd clutch yesterday (23 eggs). All 3 clutches were pearly white fertile. I am hoping she is done because I dont know what I am going to do late summer when i am up to my armpits in baby panthers! When I heard that they can lay 60 to 80 eggs I thought that was at one time. I was wrong

Thats great, wish I could be so full of panther eggs!

Well dont get your hopes up for 60-80 eggs thats more how much a female veiled would lay, not a panther its normal for a panther to lay 20-40. Unless you have a monster female.
