panther crosses?

A quick use of the search function will give you all your answers.. this is a very controversial topic that has been discussed many times.. it all comes down to preference.. any locale can be mixed because they are the same species.. some just prefer to keep pure locales, others like how crosses look. pure lines will always be more expensive.

not all of them are cheaper. Panther crosses are a cross of locales. Like I have an ambilobe X Nosy Be. The breeders know what the crosses are because they breed them

They are cheaper because they are undesirable for breeding projects (or actually more expensive if you have good reputation and a super colorful cross). It can be difficult to impossible to tell what they're crossed with just by looking at them. But a good breeder will know exactly what they've bred and be able to give you the break down.
